Capacity Allocation Method for Integrated Energy Systems Considering Generalized Sufficiency
With the continuous increase in the installed capacity of new energy sources, the stable operation of the power system faces more severe challenges. Our work introduces a multi-energy network dimensioning approach that incorporates generalized sufficiency metrics and targets enhanced power equilibrium, frequency support, and voltage support capability through pre-planning. Firstly, an integrated energy system model considering generalized sufficiency is proposed. Second, an integrated energy system capacity allocation model is proposed to minimize the investment cost of wind power, photovoltaic (PV), electrochemical energy storage, and regulator while considering system power, frequency, and voltage stability constraints. This capacity allocation is reformulated as a bi-level stochastic program solved through the Column and Constraint Generation Algorithm (C&CG). The efficacy of the proposed framework is empirically validated through implementation on the IEEE 39-bus test network.
