ACADEMIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF SPECIALIZED PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CLASSES: THE RELEVANCE OF THE PROBLEM AND THE DIRECTIONS OF ITS SOLUTION IN MODERN CONDITIONS (FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF MOSCOW PEDAGOGICAL STATE UNIVERSITY)

The problem of the shortage of teaching staff has actualized the search for methods of attracting young people to teaching professions. The traditions of training high school students in teaching classes need not only to be restored, but also to be seriously modernized. It is important not only to recall the experience of successful cooperation between schools with teaching classes and a pedagogical university, to update successful practices, but also to determine the directions of their further interaction. Thus, by 2000, the long-term experience of MPSU in working with Moscow schools made it possible to form a system of specialized training for high school students focused on choosing a teaching profession. Several years of fruitful cooperation served as the basis not only for the development of unique textbooks, academic and methodological guidelines for the pedagogical education system, but also allowed to improve the quality of training specialists, to educate a whole galaxy of PhDs and ScDs.
