Preface

I am delighted to present the conference proceedings for the 4th International Seminar of Science and Technology (ISST). This annual conference, organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Universitas Terbuka (UT), continues to serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas in science and technology. The 4th ISST, held at the Universitas Terbuka Convention Centre (UTCC) and virtually through Zoom on 17 th October 2024, focused on “ Innovations in Science and Technology to Realize Sustainable Development Goals .” This year’s conference explored subthemes such as “ Collaborative Contribution in Environmental Science to Achieve Sustainable Living ,” “ Role of Agriculture Science for Sustainable Food Production ,” and “ Technological Innovations in Natural Science for Sustainable Environment .” This conference attracted over 300 participants and around 124 presenters in our parallel sessions. We were honored to host distinguished keynote speakers and experts from various prestigious institutions, including the Ministry of Education, Research and Technology of Indonesia, Griffith University, Morgridge Institute of Research, H3C, and Universitas Terbuka . Their contributions, along with those of our conference presenters, enriched the conference and provided valuable insights into the newest innovations and ideas in science and technology to realize sustainable development goals.
