Reuse of solid waste (plastics) in production of sustainable block in the city of Beira (Mozambique)

The mere presence and interference of man in nature creates adverse environmental problems over time. However, this element has been increasingly problematic since the industrial revolution, requiring a shift in lifestyle and reaction to the many environmental problems caused by pollution. Civil engineering has been addressing this difficulty in two ways: by reusing materials and by making prudent use of resources. Reusing plastic, a material that is now one of the worst environmental problems, was the aim of this study.
