Phenomena of frequency variation and active power change during various faults on hybrid microgrid
This paper provides insight on the behaviour of hybrid microgrid with reference to frequency and power in active mode when subjected to the fault conditions. The aspect of triple line to ground fault, L-L fault and line to ground fault is observed for IEEE 14 bus structure having MV, LV network along with dc grid. The system is incorporating both linear and nonlinear loads. The faults are observed on main bus having HV AC main power and PV units. The active power variation on each bus is plotted in the graph and frequency variation is also scrutinized. The penetration of RES is up to 40% of system capacity.
