Security issues in IoT: challenges & solutions
The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized modern technology, connecting billions of devices across industries like healthcare, smart cities, industries automation, & home automation. However, this rapid expansion of interconnected devices also introduces significant security challenges. IoT ecosystems are highly vulnerable to cyber threats, including unauthorized access, data leaks, malware attacks, Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks, and device hijacking etc. The lack of standardized security protocols, resource constraints in IoT devices, and weak authentication mechanisms further escalate these risks. Additionally, privacy concerns arise due to massive data collection and transmission across unsecured networks.
