LANDASAN SPIRITUAL DALAM ETOS BELAJAR PERSPEKTIF AL QUR’AN DAN HADIST

Education is the main foundation of a nation's civilization, but student success is often hampered by a weak learning ethos. Many students want success without being accompanied by enthusiasm and positive habits in seeking knowledge. This article aims to examine the concept of learning ethos from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, and to highlight the importance of a spiritual foundation as the main pillar of Islamic education. This study uses a library research method by analyzing data from the Qur'an, hadith, and relevant literature descriptively. The results of the study show that Islam, through the Qur'an (QS. Al-Ghasyiyah: 17-21) and hadith, greatly emphasizes the learning ethos as a form of worship. A strong learning ethos is not only characterized by perseverance and curiosity, but also deep spiritual motivation. The forming factors include internal (interest, attitude) and external (family, school, community) aspects. Thus, the integration of learning enthusiasm with spirituality is the key to forming a generation of knowledge and noble character. All elements of education are recommended to work together to instill this spiritual-based learning ethos.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation of a nation's civilization, but student success is often hampered by a weak learning ethos. Many students want success without being accompanied by enthusiasm and positive habits in seeking knowledge. This article aims to examine the concept of learning ethos from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, and to highlight the importance of a spiritual foundation as the main pillar of Islamic education. This study uses a library research method by analyzing data from the Qur'an, hadith, and relevant literature descriptively. The results of the study show that Islam, through the Qur'an (QS.
