Capsule to the Rescue
The diagnosis of obscure small bowel bleed and iron deficiency anaemia secondary to small bowel pathology can be challenging. Small bowel capsule endoscopy can prove to be a valuable diagnostic tool in these situations. This case report highlights how an uncommon complication of this procedure proved to be key in the diagnosis of an uncommon condition.
