Personal maritime documents as a source on the history of the Murmansk fishing industry in the Soviet period (from the stock collection of the Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore)

The article is devoted to a little-studied aspect of the history of the fishing industry in the North. The history of record-keeping historical sources related to the fishing industry does not relate to the developed topic. By studying this type of historical sources, it is possible to reliably establish a fairly broad aspect of historical facts: the full name of a particular historical person (captain), the exact name of the vessel, the ship's affiliation to a particular port, and socio-economic aspects of a particular era.
