A Comparative Evaluation of Freight Strategies for Online Business Models in Delhi: A Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS Approach

This paper undertakes a comparative assessment of freight strategies for online business models in Delhi, employing Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The study investigates the effectiveness of strategies including mixed-use development planning, collaborative logistics, green logistics, zoning regulations, micro-depots, dynamic warehouse location, and customer convenience centers in optimizing urban goods distribution. Through face-to-face surveys with stakeholders encompassing E-commerce and Q-commerce sectors, this research elucidates the relative importance of these strategies in the context of Delhi’s evolving logistical landscape. The findings inform sustainable and efficient freight management for policymakers, logistics operators, and urban planners in dynamic urban environments.
