Boris Ryzhy in the Yekaterinburg Newspaper “Doverie” (Clarification of the Circumstances of the Poetic Debut)

The article clarifies the circumstances of Boris Ryzhy’s first poetry publication. In particular, it establishes that the publication of his youthful poems in “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” was erroneously attributed to him for a long time. In fact, B. Ryzhy’s debut took place in the newspaper “Doverie”, which was published in Yekaterinburg in 1991–1995 (since October 1991 — with the subtitle “rossiyskaya gazeta”, but it was not a subsidiary of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”). As a context for B. Ryzhy’s poetry debut, a brief overview of the 1991–1992 issues of this newspaper is given. The process of the appearance and replication of the mentioned bibliographic error and its influence on possible interpretations of the poet’s creative path are considered separately.
