Research on the Application of the 5E Instructional Model in Senior High School English Reading Teaching—A Case Study of the Reading Section in Unit 3 of PEP Senior High School English Book 3

Through theoretical analysis and empirical investigation, this study elucidates the implementation strategies and pedagogical functions of each phase of the 5E model in English reading instruction. The research aims to enhance the quality of senior high school English reading education, cultivate students’ English reading proficiency and comprehensive language literacy, and provide practical references for English reading pedagogy in senior high schools.
