Based on the extensive research on vocational school students, the study explores the mechanism between the integration of “post-course-competition-certificate” and the improvement of employment quality with the help of structural equation modelling. It is found that there is a significant positive correlation between job awareness, job competence, endogenous motivation and external recognition, with endogenous motivation playing the most significant role. It can be seen that vocational colleges and universities should vigorously promote the pace of “post-course-competition-certificate” integration, attach great importance to the teaching and management of “post-course-competition-certificate” integration, and give full play to the influence of “post-course-competition-certificate” integration on employment quality.
