Standards of surgical approach in combined treatment of patients with locally advanced gastric cancer

Surgery continues to occupy a leading place in the complex treatment of patients with gastric cancer, including locally advanced (LAGC). At the same time, the standardization of the volume of surgical interventions continues, minimally invasive technologies are widely introduced, new algorithms for multimodal treatment are developed. This paper presents an overview of modern aspects of the surgical approach, taking into account the factors determined by the combined treatment of LAGC.
