THE EPIDEMIC PROCESS OF HIV INFECTION IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS AT THE NATIONAL AND REGIONAL LEVELS

The regularities and peculiarities of manifestations of the epidemic process of HIV infection in the population of Belarus, Minsk city and Brest region from 2000 to 2022 were analyzed from the point of view of the unity of the epidemic process. The increase in the activity of HIV transmission activity by parenteral injection of narcotic drugs was found to manifest itself through changes not only in the structure of level but also in the sex and age of the population, both at the national and regional levels. At the same time, dramatic changes in the structure of morbidity by sex and age and an increase in morbidity in certain age groups were indicators of changes in the activity of HIV transmission routes. Since the HIV infection epidemic process on the territory of the republic is unified and inseparable, the worsening of the epidemiologic situation in one territory leads to an increase in morbidity in other regions during the following years. When complex planning of preventive and sanitary antiepidemic measures in a particular region, it is necessary to take into account not only the regularities of the epidemic process in this region, but also its peculiarities in other territories of the republic.
