ANALISA KINERJA BUNDARAN PADA SIMPANG CABANG BANGGO,KECAMATAN MANGGELEWA, KABUPATEN DOMPU

Simpang Cabang Banggo is an intersection located in Banggo Village, Manggelewa District, Dompu Regency. Simpang Cabang Banggo has 4 arms, where in the middle of the intersection there is a roundabout. The roundabout in the middle of the intersection is often misused by drivers, such as the roundabout area which is used as a parking lot for motorbikes and cars, causing congestion and making the road narrow. The problems that will be studied are to determine the value of Road Capacity, Degree of Saturation, Roundabout Delay and Queue Opportunity at the Roundabout. With the aim of finding out how the Roundabout Performs at Simpang Cabang Banggo, with the MKJI1997 guidelines. This research is an empirical study, the data obtained in this study were carried out by means of a Survey conducted for 7 days. Data collection in this study used a primary survey (road geometric survey, traffic flow survey, layout quality survey) and a secondary survey. After conducting a survey for 7 days and analyzing the performance of the Roundabout at Simpang Cabang Banggo, the results obtained were: The volume of vehicles during peak hours is 2000.3 smp/hour, Road Capacity is 2621.7 smp/hour, Degree of Saturation is 0.76, Roundabout Delay is 10.28 sec/smp, Queue Opportunity upper limit is 35.88% and lower limit is 27.70%
