Analysis of the Translation of the Poems of “<i>Journey to the West</i>”

《西游记》是我国古代第一部浪漫主义章回体长篇神魔小说。是我国神魔小说的经典之作，达到了古代长篇浪漫主义小说的巅峰。《西游记》中具有一定数量的诗词，从题材角度分有写景诗、写人诗、写物诗。从格律角度看有五言诗、七言诗、杂言诗。押韵和各种修辞手法的运用使得这些诗词更加生动。这些诗词在《西游记》中的作用也是毋庸置疑的。本文以长春出版社2016年出版的吴承恩原著《西游记》作为基本语料来源，与新疆人民出版社2012年出版的穆合塔尔译文进行对比，研究维译时押韵与修辞手法翻译的特点。“Journey to the West” is the first romantic chapter hui style novel of gods and demons in ancient China. It is a classic of Chinese gods and demons novels, and has reached the pinnacle of ancient long-form romantic novels. There are a certain number of poems in “Journey to the West”, which are divided into scenery poems, people poems, and object poems from the perspective of subject matter. From the perspective of metrics, there are five-word poems, seven-word poems, and miscellaneous poems. The use of rhyme and various rhetorical devices make these poems more vivid. The role of these poems in “Journey to the West” is also undoubted. This paper takes Wu Chengen’s original work “Journey to the West”, published by Changchun Publishing House in 2016, as the basic corpus source, and compares it with Mukhtar’s translation published by Xinjiang People’s Publishing House in 2012, and studies the characteristics of rhyme and rhetorical translation in Uighur language translation.
