ANALYSIS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A MUSICAL CO-AUTHOR AND THE ETHICAL ASPECTS OF ITS APPLICATION
The paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in changing approaches to musical art. It explores the use of AI in creating new musical works, raising questions regarding uniqueness, authorship, and ethical considerations. It is established that deep learning algorithms and generative adversarial networks can automate the processes of composition, harmonization, and arrangement, but challenges arise in determining authorship and authenticity of musical works. Ethical issues related to the use of AI are analyzed, particularly regarding its impact on preserving individual style and originality. It is found that AI has the potential to transform artistic creativity, allowing artists to focus on generating new ideas, while routine tasks are handled by modern technologies. The paper also highlights that AI technologies can expand the boundaries of cultural ideas, shifting the focus from human uniqueness to collaboration with technology, which may lead to the blurring of styles and a rethinking of the concept of originality. New opportunities for musical creativity and the interpretation of musical works are revealed. It is proven that AI can contribute to both the preservation of cultural heritage and the creation of new interpretations of musical genres. Potential threats are assessed, including the risks of losing human creativity and the standardization of art. A comprehensive approach is proposed for analyzing the impact of AI on contemporary musical culture and the transformation of cultural ideas, particularly in terms of copyright and the authenticity of works created with AI. Directions for further research are identified, concerning the impact of AI on contemporary musical culture and the development of new AI models that ensure a higher level of originality in musical works and other artistic products. Special attention is given to the development of international standards that regulate the interaction between humans and AI in creating artistic products, as well as defining responsibility for copyright violations.
