Kumar Oynama Bozukluğu Bağlamında Depresyon, Anksiyete, Stres ve Psikolojik Esneklik Üzerine Bir Derleme
This review aims to evaluate the current literature comparing depression, anxiety, stress levels, and psychological flexibility in individuals with and without gambling disorder. The literature indicates that individuals with gambling disorder exhibit higher levels of depression, anxiety, and stress, and lower levels of psychological flexibility. Psychological flexibility and its subcomponents—especially acceptance, present-moment awareness, and values-based action—are negatively associated with gambling behaviors. In this context, therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing psychological flexibility may be effective in the prevention and treatment of gambling disorder. This review presents comparative findings in the literature to provide a comprehensive overview and to serve as a basis for future research and interventions. Keywords: Anxiety, depression, gambling disorder, psychological flexibility, and stress.
