Fabrication and Comprehensive Study of the Structural, Electrical, and Magnetic Properties of MgAlxFe2-xO4 Nano Ferrites Prepared via the Sol-Gel Auto-Combustion Technique

With the use of the sol-gel method and spontaneous combustion, a ferrite nano compound with the chemical formula (MgAlxFe2-xO4) for values of X=0, 0.50, 1.00, and 1.50 has been prepared. It was then calcined for three hours at 850 °C. EDX, XRD and FE-SEM were utilized for examining structural characteristics of the resultant ferrite. According to the findings, the ferrite has a spin-shaped crystal structure, a cubic phase, and grains that range in size from 24 to 42 nm. The electrical characteristics have been examined, and it has been discovered that dielectric constant value decreases as frequency increases, while alternating electrical conductivity value (σ_(a.c)) increases as frequency increases. Based on VSM, we discovered that Mr≈ ±0.05 emu/g, Ms≈0.26 emu/g, and Hc≈-250 Oe.
