Wave Heat Transfer in Shielding under Intense Heating
Heat transfer in media where thermal perturbations travel at finite speed is considered. The mathematical model employed is based on a hyperbolic heat conduction equation with convective–conductive heat transfer. Two cases are analyzed: wave heat transfer in bodies under intense heating (heat shock) when acidic media flow around aerospace systems; and wave heat transfer in bodies with nonlinear thermal conductivity. Integral Laplace transformation with respect to the time and the convolution integral are employed in the solution. As a result, the temperature field is determined as a function of the coordinate and the time.
