Implementation of TCP/IP protocol stack offloading based on FPGA
In order to solve the problem of low and lower CPU occupancy, the speed card of a TCP/IP protocol is implemented using FPGA. The scheme implements the function of the TCP/IP protocol to the FPGA or TCP unloading engine (TOE). It contains related technologies such as the TOS, which improves the data transmission rate. At the same time, because the CPU is not handled by the protocol stack, the CPU's occupancy rate is reduced, and the free CPU enables it to operate more of the other business. The receiving and sending rate of the network card was doubled after the actual test was opened, and the CPU occupancy rate was reduced by 40%. This solves the problem of low rate of high bandwidth application scenario and high CPU occupancy rate.
