A Novel Compound Network Based on de Bruijn and Generalized Hypercube
Hypercubes and de bruijn each possess many desirable properties of interconnected networks. However, a single structure lacks the attractive features of another structure. In this paper, we introduce vector partitioning method to extend the definitions of de Bruijn network and Hypercube which has the Generalized Hypercube and de Bruijn network as two special case included in it, This type of structure combines the advantages of de bruijn and hypercubes. We call it as divided de Bruijn network (DDBN). The proposed network exhibits topological properties of both the de Bruijn network and the generalized hypercube, This allows us to effectively balance cost and performance, and build networks that are most suitable for specific purposes. This article will analyze the following characteristics: the connectivity, embedding, fault-tolerance and Hamiltonicity of DDBN.
