DNS Security Governance and Application Practices in Higher Education Institutions

As the core base for knowledge dissemination and scientific research innovation, higher education institution are facing increasingly severe network security challenges while utilizing the rapid development of information technology. The Domain Name System (DNS) is a key component of the network interconnection infrastructure of higher education institution, and its security seriously affects the personal information security of teachers and students. This article describes the current status of DNS operation and management in higher education institution, analyzes the DNS operation mechanism and common attack methods, and on this basis, combined with the development trend of DNS security technology, proposes a DNS security protection system for higher education institution. Practice has shown that this DNS security system can significantly reduce the risk of DNS vulnerabilities in campus networks and effectively improve the overall security protection capabilities of campus networks. This topic provides new ideas for DNS security governance and practice in higher education institution, and has certain reference value in DNS security protection research.
