Preliminary Biochemical Profile of Three Species of the Genus <i>Tribulus L. (Zygophyllaceae)</i>
Three species of the genus Tribulus (T. terrestris Linn., T. macropterus Boiss. and T. pentandrus Forssk.) were documented from the state of Punjab during the year 2018-2021. Morphological features were analyzed for accurate identification. Biochemical profile of these species were studied using standard procedures. There was a great variations in occurrence of Phytochemicals between three species. This study will be useful for pharmaceutical industries for development of useful drugs from these Tribulus species.
