NUMERICAL STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE MICROSTRUCTURE OF ANTIREFLECTIVE MESOPOROUS TiO2 LAYER IN APPLICATION TO Si SOLAR CELLS
The problem of increasing the efficiency of a solar cell formed by a porous TiO2 layer of different thickness and structural design deposited on a planar silicon substrate is theoretically considered. The characteristics of effective light absorption and scattering by the antireflection layer of two structural types have been studied in detail: as a self-assembly of TiO2 nanospheres of fixed diameter or the introduction of randomly arranged vertical cylindrical nanopores in a solid layer of titanium dioxide. Practical recommendations for reducing the optical losses of the solar cell by reducing the reflection and increasing the share of light absorbed in its volume are proposed.
