DISTRIBUTION OF LOW-LEVEL CLOUDS OVER THE SIBERIAN REGION TERRITORY

The work presents the statistical analysis results of the lower stratiform clouds amount obtained from meteorological observations of 70 Siberian weather stations for the period from 1969 to 2022. The studies of monthly, seasonal and annual average values of the amount of low-level stratiform clouds (Sc, St, Ns) were carried out. The greatest low clouds amount is observed in the polar latitudes of Western Siberia in autumn, the least  in Eastern Siberia in winter. The following can be observed in the annual course of the low cloudiness amount over most of the region: a minimum of average monthly values (in winter) and two maximums (the main one in August-October, and the second less pronounced one in May-June).
