THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE COEFFICIENTS OF AEROSOL EXTINCTION OF RADIATION IN THE WAVELENGTH RANGE FROM 0.45 TO 3.9 MICRONS WITH THE VARIABILITY OF THE COEFFICIENTS OF DIRECTIONAL LIGHT SCATTERING IN THE ANGLE RANGE FROM 1⁰ TO 15⁰
The dS/dr size distributions of aerosol particles obtained from solving the inverse problem for two arrays of empirical data are compared. Arrays of aerosol extinction coefficients βEXT(λ) and directional light scattering coefficients βSCT(φ) served as the starting material for this analysis. The measurements were carried out in July 2012 in clean conditions and in dense fumes. The coefficients βEXT(λ) are obtained from trace measurements (the length of the horizontal trace is 1 km) of the spectral transmission of the atmosphere in the wavelength range λ from 0.45 to 3.9 microns. The coefficients βSCT(φ) were measured in a local volume at one of the ends of the route in the angle range φ from 1 to 15⁰. A method for correcting the data obtained in the local volume is proposed.
