Electrochemical reactivity of graphene under mechanical strain

Mechanical strain affects graphene's electrochemical reactivity towards 4-NBD, first decreasing then increasing at higher strains. This nonlinear behavior is explained by Marcus–Gerischer theory and strain-induced shifts in Dirac-point energy.
