The analysis of practical activities, as well as the abstract review of modern publications, indicates that the national economy is waiting for a long recovery period, the existing forecasts vary, but as of today, the prospects are unfavorable. The purpose of the study is to determine the prospects for achieving the desired results by the national economy. The tasks of the study involve the interpretation of basic concepts, among which the definitions of “sanctions” and “investment climate”, the diagnosis of changes in the national economy, and the assessment of measures taken by the state are of decisive importance. The subject area of research, despite its relevance, is not well developed, there is a lack of empirical research. The presented theoretical results of the study will be useful in the development of the concept of economic recovery in the post-sanction period.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of building a model for the restoration of the national economy in the post-sanction period. The distinctive features of the consequences of sanctions are changes in the investment climate, reduction and change in the structure of foreign trade. Despite assumptions about the possibility of domestic production growth under the influence of sanctions, it is obvious that sanctions have a negative impact on the national economy, the institutions of which are integrated into international economic relations.
