Circumstances of Insuperable Force (Force Majeure) in Sports Training: Problems Setting and Potential Solutions
This article analyzes force majeure circumstances in sports training. The authors note that force majeure circumstances in the sports field, as a rule, are not associated with a violation of obligations and the imposition of liability, characterized by extremeness and unpreventability. Along with the general types of force majeure in sports training, the authors also identify other specific circumstances, the list of which is open and may vary depending on the type of sport. The state and municipal system for training sports reserves has not developed criteria and bodies that would establish the occurrence of force majeure in sports.
