Theoretical foundations of using the innovative approaches to organizing legal business management with the use of digital tools

The article focuses on the need to intensify the processes of widespread implementation of innovations in various areas of legal business. The existing classification of innovations in legal business is considered, and it is also supplemented with a number of classification criteria, in particular: by the sphere of implementation of innovations in the activities of a law firm, by the time period of impact, by the results obtained from implementation, by the subjects of innovation creation and mechanisms for their involvement, by the scale of implementation in the legal services market, by the share of coverage of the law firm's activities, by the implementation procedure, by the moment of obtaining the results of implementation, by the stages of implementation; by the processes of innovation emergence. The article identifies areas for implementing digitalization tools in the legal business. It is emphasized that the solution to the problem of ensuring effective management in the legal business can be achieved by forming an integrated system for managing its functioning. The emphasis is on the fact that this system is designed to ensure the existence of an interconnection between all business processes of a law firm, to contribute to the growth of its competitiveness, stability, successful resolution of development tasks; to form an effective mechanism for achieving its goals in order to meet the balanced requirements put forward by all stakeholders. The article presents a model developed by the authors for implementing an integrated system for managing the innovative development of legal business in the context of digitalization. The implementation of this model will help strengthen the competitive advantages of the legal business, increase the flexibility, validity and effectiveness of management decisions, and help reduce the existing risks of law firms operating in uncertain conditions.
