Historical essays and the contemporary context of digitalization of economic processes in Ukraine and the world

The article examines the historical, theoretical, methodological and conceptual foundations of the formation and development of digitalization of economic processes in Ukraine and the world. The conceptual and categorical apparatus of digitalization of economic processes is comprehensively studied, methodological approaches to the analysis of the digital economy are presented. A scientific study of Ukrainian and foreign concepts of the formation and development of a modern digital society is carried out: digital management and digital economy, which are developing in the context of technological change and the use of innovative digital technologies. The principles of the development of a digital society that is developing thanks to artificial intelligence, the introduction of robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud technologies and big data are considered. The article focuses on the philosophy of the development of digitalization of a creative society and its impact on the economy. This is a view of the history and modernity of the digital economy. The article develops practical recommendations on the path to digitalization of the economy, which allow using all the opportunities provided by the modern world. The key aspects of the digitalization of the Ukrainian economy in the context of global integration are revealed from a practical perspective. It is established that during the transition of the economy to digitalization, the traditional principles of doing business and the norms defined for information technologies, accounting and management systems, and marketing complexes undergo radical changes. It is determined that the digitalization of the economy optimizes business processes, creates new products and services, and saves resources due to savings on personnel, automation and robotization of business processes. It is studied that digitalization significantly contributes to the development of global digital banking. The main trends in the transformation of the global financial system in the context of global digitalization include the introduction of digital currencies of central banks, the definition of the legal status and features of the regulation of transactions with cryptocurrencies at the national and international levels, as well as the use of cryptocurrencies and digital currencies in international settlements.
