Enhancing Traffic Incident Recognition Through Convolutional Neural Networks: A VGG16 Based Visual Analysis Approach
Accidents have been a major cause of death in India Delays in aiding accident victims account for more than 80% of accident-related fatalities, not the actual accident. The victim of an accident may be left alone for a long period on roads with fast and light traffic. Developing a system that recognizes an accident using the live images feed from a CCTV camera positioned on a road is the idea. The idea entails employing a deep learning convolution A neural network model processes each image and categorizes it as either an accident or non-accident. It has been demonstrated that convolutional neural networks provide a rapid and accurate technique for classifying images. For relatively small datasets, CNN with VGG16 based image classifiers have shown accuracy of over 95.5% and require less preparation than earlier image classification systems.
