Nutrient support for women to reduce the risk of breast cancer
Changing lifestyle is one of the most effective methods of breast cancer primary prevention. Increased consumption of foods rich in iron, vitamin D, soy isoflavones, indole-3-carbinol and omega 3 fatty acids is a huge resource for reducing the risk of breast cancer in women, regardless of menopause status. The main anticarcinogenic mechanisms of these biologically active substances include modulation of proliferation, apoptosis, neoangiogenesis and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Recent studies also demonstrated the possible influence of nutrient factors on the intestinal microbiome, which makes a significant contribution to changing the risk of oncopathology in women.
