Health events related to the use of medications are common and can end up triggering serious consequences in patients, so timely reporting allows decisions to be made to avoid serious consequences. Thus, the present research aimed to describe the effectiveness of an educational intervention in the reporting of events related to the use of medications in a low complexity IPS in the city of Bogota in the year 2024. A before-after intervention study with 30 participants was conducted; an evaluation of pharmacovigilance reports before and after an educational intervention, statistical analysis was performed in SPSS version 24. The effectiveness of the intervention was noted with the increase of reports from zero to 22 cases in three months. The educational intervention indicated an improvement in the reporting culture in patient safety.
