Integrative taxonomic revision of the Afrotropical Ezishnola László, Ronkay & Witt, 2010 (Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Nolidae, Nolinae), with descriptions of six new species
Following an integrative approach, the Afrotropical taxa of the noline genus Ezishnola László, Ronkay & Witt, 2010 is revised. As a result of the Maximum Likelihood analysis of 29 DNA barcodes combined with morphological assessment of 160 Ezishnola specimens, ten species are differentiated, six of which (Ezishnola congolana sp. n., E. inscripta sp. n., E. magnisignata sp. n., E. nitidipicta sp. n., E. pindura sp. n. and E. truncata sp. n.) are described as new to science, and Meganola xantholeuca Hacker, 2012 is transferred to Ezishnola (E. xantholeuca (Hacker, 2012) comb. n.). The paper is illustrated with 74 diagnostic figures of all species and their genitalia, along with a dendrogram inferred from the ML analysis.
