Design and Implementation Strategies of Bilingual Teaching Activities for Young Children from the Perspective of Multiple Intelligences

The current bilingual education for young children generally emphasizes the development of multiple intelligences. However, there are problems in the design and implementation of teaching activities, such as a sole focus on linguistic intelligence learning objectives, neglect of the association of various intelligent contents, lack of integrated learning tasks that connect commonality and individuality, and the use of a single learning evaluation method. Based on the theory of multiple intelligences and combined with examples of children’s bilingual teaching activities, this paper proposes four strategies: anchoring objectives, relying on themes, focusing on methods, and evaluating outcomes. These strategies aim to promote the coordinated development of young children’s language, behavior, emotions, and attitudes, achieving the educational value pursuit of “activity-based education for whole-person development” in early childhood education.
