Adrenal Hemorrhage. A Condition of Significant Importance in Daily Medical‐Radiological Practice. Case Report
ABSTRACT Adrenal hemorrhage in pediatrics is a pathology predominantly seen in neonates, which has been on the rise in terms of its presentation due to the widespread use of prenatal and postnatal ultrasound. It occurs before birth and in the first month of the child's life, characterized by the accumulation of blood in the adrenal gland, located above the kidneys and responsible for producing hormones. It is secondary to various causes such as birth injuries, coagulopathies, and perinatal asphyxia. Although it is a rare condition, its incidence and prevalence can vary depending on the studied population and associated risk factors.
