ISSUES OF YOUTH POLICY IN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA /
In the fields of social security, employment, housing provision, transport, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and leisure, young people, depending on their age and life situations, need assistance, highlighting the critical necessity of their involvement in these areas. Our goal is to analyze the current youth policy in Armenia to identify existing problems and justify proposals for improvements. To achieve this goal, we have focused on studying the international experience of youth policy, its applicability in Armenia, investigating the living conditions, expectations, and participation of young people in ongoing processes in the country, the challenges they face most often, analyzing the trends in certain socio-demographic indicators, and identifying directions for improving the existing policy. Our research was carried out using two main methods: - literature review to identify issues related to the participation of youth in decision-making processes, including examples from other countries, - conducting online interviews with young people from Yerevan and several regions. The informational basis for the article includes scientific papers related to the field and normative legal acts regulating the sector. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the identification of contemporary issues of youth policy and the presentation of proposals for their resolution, the analysis of research results conducted by us and various organizations, the comparison of international experience, and the observation of trends in problematic demographic indicators.
