AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO ASSESSING SCHOOL STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS IN BIOLOGY

The paper considers an integrated approach to assessing the educational achievements of school students in biology. The necessity to take into account the level of knowledge acquisition is justified as well as the conduction of an assessment procedure based on criteria and indicators that allow not only to state the subject-specific achievement levels of students, but also measures the awareness and effectiveness of the knowledge acquisition.
