Voice assistants such as Siri, Alice, Marusya, etc., play games and charades with children, control smart homes, entertain and help plan things, and Internet chatbots help apply for insurance or find the right section on government services web portal, find information about stock quotes or weather forecasts. The purpose of the article is to characterize the genesis of chatbots and their development in education.
