EMOCIONALNI PEJZAŽ ANDRIĆEVIH PRIPOVEDAKA „KNJIGA”, „PROZOR” I „MILA I PRELAC”

The goal of the work is to apply the postulates of affective narratology, the approach to the literary work that has been the focus of attention of international literary scholars for the last two decades, in the reading and interpretation of the short stories “Knjiga”, “Window” and “Mila and Prelac”, in order to established the emotional landscape of Andrić’s narrative world. Our effort is to talk about the ways in which emotions are presented in his literary work, about the semantic complexes that are realized through the emotional landscape and the affective messages that the work provides to the readers, through the interpretation of the above-mentioned short stories of the writer. Special attention is paid to passages in which the dominant thematic-motive complex is connected with the emotions of the hero, narrator and author. The examples from the selected short stories show how, with the help of stylistic devices and narrative techniques, the author’s, narrator’s and hero’s emotions of fear, kinship, friendship and erotic love are stylized.
