„POZORIŠNI LIST“ BRANISLAVA NUŠIĆA: KNjIŽEVNOST, KRITIKA I VIZIJA

This paper provides a synthesis of previous findings regarding The Theatrical Journal, edited by Branislav Nušić (1901–1902), in an attempt to offer an overview of the literary topics addressed by the editorial board. This journal was the official periodical publication of the National Theatre in Belgrade, serving as a significant testament to the theatre of that era. Although literary themes were not the primary focus of this journal, this paper will discuss the problematization of literary and cultural issues in relation to the events in Serbian theatre during Nušić’s time, exploring his style, significance and influence on Serbian culture. The primary aim of this journal was to serve as a means of information and communication between the theatre and its audience.
