A STUDY ON BUDGET PLANNING AND ALLOCATION ANALYSIS AT STATE BANK OF INDIA, MEDAK

Aims to explore and evaluate the financial planning and procurement processes adopted by SBI. As India's largest public sector bank, SBI manages an extensive range of operations that require efficient budgetary control and procurement strategies to ensure smooth functioning, cost efficiency, and compliance with government regulations.Both primary and secondary data have been utilized in the study. Interviews with bank staff and analysis of internal documents, annual reports, and procurement policies have helped assess the effectiveness of current systems. Special attention is given to SBI’s use of technology in budgeting and e-procurement platforms, which has enhanced efficiency and reduced manual errors.
