A STUDY ON INVESTMENT AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT AT KOTAK SECURITIES

This study analyzed Kotak Securities’ investment and wealth management offerings over a five-year period using secondary data from financial reports and market sources. It reviewed five IPOs, five ETF and mutual fund schemes, gold ETF trends (KGET), and valuations of five major banks. Analytical tools included descriptive statistics, visual charts, and PE ratio comparisons. Findings showed varied IPO subscription trends, strong equity ETF returns (24%), stable sovereign bond ETF returns (5.34%), and consistent gold ETF performance (13.5%). KGET prices rose steadily, reflecting investor interest in gold. Private banks traded at a premium, while SBI lagged behind industry PE benchmarks. The study concluded Kotak Securities effectively supports diverse investor needs through a broad product mix. Key recommendations involved strengthening digital advisory, pre-IPO guidance, and investor education. Limitations included reliance on secondary data and a limited time frame; future work should include primary data and longer-term analysis.
