Fuzzy Controlled Hybrid Electric Vehicle Drive
The current market trend demands Electric Vehicle as it is environment friendly in the area of use. The Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) required coordinated control in order to achieve good efficiency. The conventional control of drives using PI control is best suited for linear systems. But it is not effective if there are non-linearities or uncertainties in the system. The implementation of Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) for drives is an advanced tool in EV which provides better control and efficiency. In this paper FLC is implemented in order to achieve the desired result. FLC here is used in three modes: a) Fuel mode b) Efficiency mode c) Emission mode. The results obtained for these three modes are analyzed in this paper.
