Wide band Reconfigurable THz MIMO Antenna with Enhanced Isolation for 5G/6G Applications
The paper presents a two-element THz MIMO antenna that is designed to cover the entire 5–10 THz frequency range. It is ideal for use in 5G and 6G mobile and fixed line applications. The high isolation of the antenna less than -45 dB peak value are attributed to its decoupling structure between two radiating patches. The patch is composed of two rectangular panels that are equipped with graphene materials. It is connected to a micro strip line with a 50 ohm capacity. It can be utilized in a MIMO configuration with a bandwidth of more than 5.5 THz. The diversity parameters such as Envelop correlation coefficient (ECC) and Diversity Gain (DG) that have been proposed for use in designing an antenna should also undergo verification to ensure their performance characteristics. The suggested research states that an antenna with an average efficiency level of 80% and a peak gain rate of 8.4 dBi can be utilized. The 6th-generation wireless standard has been developed to address the increasing demand for high-speed data transmission, 6G will provide faster connectivity and lower latency for mobile broadband, AI, and wireless communication.
