Twin Core Gold Coated Photonic Crystal Fiber Temperature Sensor Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance

A minimal cost with susceptible gold nanofilm externally coated twin core heat gauge using photonic crystal fiber (PCF) technology is suggested throughout this study. The PML is ringed across to the exterior side of the analyte to prevent the radiation of reflected power. Twin-core two ring circular lattices PCF based SPR sensor. The diameter of each air hole is maintained identically to gain greater sensitivity. The sensing layer and a thin coating of gold are inserted externally into the PCF configuration. The outermost polishing layer contains the sensing layer (analyte), allowing for a simpler and more efficient fabrication method. Evidence has shown that at 40 nm in thickness within the gold section, the suggested sensor would demonstrate the highest level of response of 5.5 nm/°C utilizing the wavelength interrogation technique in the detecting region within 40-100°C. We also examine how phase corresponding points are adjusted with various fiber properties. Because of improved responsiveness and flexibility of use construction, the suggested sensor may have crucial uses for the identification of living things as well as biochemical analytes.
