Smart Navigation Aid: An IoT-Driven Intelligent Stick for Enhanced Mobility of the Visually Impaired
Navigating the world can be a daunting challenge for visually impaired individuals. This paper introduces a revolutionary IoT (Internet of Things)-driven intelligent stick designed to enhance their mobility and independence. By integrating advanced sensors for obstacle detection, GPS (Global Positioning System) for location tracking, and an intuitive audio feedback system, this smart navigation aid empowers users to traverse their environments with confidence. Through rigorous testing, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness of this device in detecting obstacles and providing real-time navigational assistance, ultimately improving the quality of life for visually impaired individuals.
